Wednesday rain

As I sit here in the shelter of my car, a little early for work, I take time to soak up the uninterrupted silence.

I am facing the ocean.
It is calm, yet the raindrops fall.

The sun finds a tiny opening and breaks the darkness that was 5
minutes ago.
The light it emits sprays myriads of silver and gold onto the sea below-it looks like heaven now.

There are boats out there.
One, two, three of them.
They quickly disappear into the golden wilderness. I wonder where they are headed?

A clear patch.
The baby blue of the sky is visible over therrrreeee.
I hope it comes over here, I have to walk, and my umbrella is broken.

A few joggers, plod along, not in a hurry, braving the elements. Motivation must have got them out of bed.

The rain, it is coming down again.

The blue is now grey.
The heavenly golden glow, gone. The boats? They’ve sailed away.

But I’m still here, sheltering and watching.

I guess it’s time.

Time to begin Wednesday and test the umbrella.

Oh look, the grey has become yellow. How quickly things change.

Have an inspirational day xN

  1. What’s up, this weekend is good in support of me, since this point in time
i am reading this wonderful informative piece of writing here at
    my home.

  2. Howdy! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I
could find a captcha plugin for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform
as yours and I’m having difficulty finding one? Thanks a lot!
